Final: #2 Moline 59, #1 Benet Academy 43. Maroons (35-3) win their first state title in school history in Class 4A. Moline joins Rocks Island (2011 - Class 3A) as just the second Illinois Quad Cities boys basketball team to win a state title. A season for the ages.

Thoughts go out to Jermilyn Gardner's family, friends and the basketball community. Just a tragic loss. He was a blast to watch on the court and friendly off of it. Just finished his junior year at Davenport West.
