- I didn't know who Andrew Tate was but my 12yo son did. Parents, they're coming for your boys. They market misogyny and racism to cishet white boys, in a package that seems appealing. Talk to your kids, have hard conversations. It's important.
- You know all those kids you forced into lockdown drills in school? who watched their friends die ? The kids you cut off from health care? Took books away from? Destroyed their home & future? They turned 18 this summer. They're voting in Nov. Let's fucking go. #GenZVoters
- Replying to @Dragonfly_DarcyThankfully my son said he didn't watch Tate's stuff, it "sounded dumb" to him. Said his friends talk about Tate a lot though. Friends who are also 12 and 13yo boys. Listening to a dude equate dominating women with manliness. Pay attention.
- Replying to @Dragonfly_DarcyYou know what has become more & more alarming to me as the day goes on & more people comment on this? How many KIDS know who Tate is & how many of us adults did not. Adults who, presumably, consume way more social media than we probably should. We aren't novices.

- Replying to @Dragonfly_DarcyJust had a conversation tonight at dinner with a friend. She asked me if I knew who Tate was, said her 15yo had been watching & loves Tate. I've known this kid since he was a toddler. He was turned unrecognizable by this shit. Do not tell me that this bullshit is not a threat.
- Replying to @Dragonfly_DarcyHad a conversation with several teachers yesterday. Middle school boys acting like asses, telling female teachers they have no authority & should be cooking & cleaning. This is a mental virus.
- Replying to @Dragonfly_DarcyAnd none of this shit is new. So what is it about Andrew Tate & his marketing on social media that has suddenly been so effective? How do kids know who he is & parents & educaters don't, even parents like me who pay attention to what our kids consume?

- My 16yo told me he's a human trafficker and I was like 😳. I leaned a lot talking to my 2 oldest kids who had nothing but disgust for him.
- And our high school told teachers to take down their pride flags. 😭 I'm glad to know not everyone lives under the red oppression taking hold of our states. Treasure that if you have it.
