- I will never understand how a c section is not treated in the same manner as any other major abdominal surgery. The expectation that women should be able to care for a newborn, get up and deal with it, with a bit of paracetamol onboard.
- Replying to @vickimosesI understand this frustration and sorry this has happened to you. But these delays are there with out the strikes, as seen with the 2.5 year wait. The strikes are not the cause. The chronic underfunding is.
- But my watch is an infection control riskSo cute! 😍❤️ Penguins visited these patients in hospital for Christmas 🐧🎄
00:00 - I'm a doctor. My partner is a doctor. We are both at the same point in our training. We have no guarantee that we can live in the same area when we enter further training. We could end up opposite ends of the country. I've trained for years and the system couldn't care less.
- Replying to @Dr_DeanSThis is the same month I paid £565 for exams that at the time gave me extra points for application. But after sitting exams and passing both, the college decided to remove the extra points I receive no reimbursement for these, despite the fact they are compulsory fir progression

- So the same man who claims that junior doctors are paid incredibly well also states that £100k is not a huge salary. He's got no idea what even comes out his mouthBREAKING: £100,000 a year 'not a huge salary', chancellor claims trib.al/gIZjTJ6
- Replying to @COSMakinWhich would be about £3,200 with inflation. It's almost unbelievable how little the pay has changed
- MP salaries have risen by £20,000 since 2011 We are asking for full pay restoration for almost the same period of time. So @SteveBarclay can you explain why all MPs are worth a £20k pay increase but junior doctors are not?📢 @DHSCgovuk responds to @BMA_JuniorDocs saying 35% pay rise ask is unreasonable - Negotiations will only happen if BMA is "prepared to move significantly from this ask" and if it suspends strikes and agrees to talks in private. #JuniorDoctorsStrike
- I do not want a lump sum payment of £1,000 I want to paid for my worth going forward A lump sum is an insult #PayRestoration
- I can't believe this time last year, I lost my job as a waiter. Then within a day started working at co-op. Then within 4 days got asked to start working as a doctor 4 months early because of a global pandemic.
- One of the ward sisters just pulled me aside to tell me that Lots of staff have given really good feedback about me and how efficient things have been since I've been on the ward. It's honestly made my day
