    I have had some unkind things written/said to me by angry parents/staff “Do Better” “You are an Idiot” “You are Harming kids” “You Have No Clue” - Would any of these people have the courage of the teacher in this classroom? The courage to teach our kids to be better than us?

    12 years ago today I stood in a courtroom on this #NationalAdoptionDay (in MI) to celebrate this boy who forever changed me and will change the world…thank you to every birth mom who gave a person like me a chance to experience unmitigated joy. @MISupremeCourt #grateful

    The first 2 pictures were taken after my second interview with @NorthvilleEDU - I wasn’t sure if I would earn the position, yet felt great joy from a thorough process. The other pics are from the night I was welcomed as the next Superintendent…Incredibly happy to be part of NPS!

    I sent this Letter of Love today to my @NCSD family…today was my final day there…such great people. Tomorrow I begin the opportunity the people of @NorthvilleEDU gave me to advocate for their families/staff in the role of superintendent. I am grateful for their trust. 🙌🏼☀️

    My son saw this laying on the table as he and I sat down to lunch, my 10 year old son flipped it over and said “I really don’t want to see this...” - he knows that each of those names leaves a family hurting. He doesn’t understand why people say Covid-19 isn’t real... He is 10 :(

    My boy turns 11 today...this is the moment I met him, I had no idea that it was also the beginning of my life. Much Love to his courageous birth mother on this day as well ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
