- My homegirl said she and her husband went to marriage counseling and the therapist terminated therapy with them after only one session. Later, the therapist sent her an email telling her to divorce that man ASAP. She asked me if she should report the therapist to the board😭
- In my 12 years of practicing as a therapist I’ve come to realize that some people really do not need therapy, instead they need community. Legit friendships, associates, peers and family members.

- A mutual of mine who is a White therapist messaged me and shared that he’s in a therapist group made up of mostly white clinicians and there are white women therapists who are targeting BIPOC therapists licenses for no reason. He shared that this one White woman therapist
- Me as a therapist: “And what did you say to him?” Client in therapy: “I told him this relationship is dead just like his parents.” Me as a therapist:
- Client: “I’ve been having an affair and I think I want to bring my husband to my next therapy session to come clean.” Me as a therapist:
