The female inspector today was heroic and acted extremely fast. Footage of her sprinting through the shopping centre by herself towards danger without any hesitation, while neutralising the threat, and presence of mind to administer first aid. She deserves a medal #BondiJunction.

This is truly astonishing to me. “It was not intentional” is perhaps a 1st year undergraduate student excuse. Not a PhD or Professor excuse. The leadership at Harvard are truly mishandling this situation beyond words. Any Harvard student penalised in the past would be furious.

I also want the police to explain why they don’t count bullets when guns are returned. They should be able to count for every bullet in every chamber/cartridge, when a gun is checked out and checked back in. And yes, this smacks of something much bigger.

She’s right. Our world has its salary and funding arrangements totally wrong. Doctors, nurses, teachers, and some research disciplines deserve much higher salary and funding. I’m a lover of sport but athletes don’t need millions per year. They don’t need more the Prime Ministers.
