    My 97-Year-old Great Grandma, Lily Ebert BEM - Auschwitz Survivor, has just recovered from Covid- 19. Today she went on her first walk in a month after making a miraculous recovery. ❤️💪A fighter and survivor💪❤️

    Today my great grandmother, Lily Ebert, an Auschwitz survivor, turns 99! “I never thought I would survive Auschwitz and have another birthday. At 99, I celebrate to show that the Nazis did not win!” All #HappyBirthdayLily wishes and comments will be passed on to Lily. ❤️

    Today my incredible great grandma Lily Ebert, a Holocaust survivor, turns 98!! “I never expected to survive Auschwitz. Now, at 98, I celebrate surrounded by my family - the Nazis did not win!” To the thousands of people who sent birthday cards & messages to Lily, THANK YOU ❤️❤️

    80 years ago, my great-grandmother Lily Ebert was in Auschwitz for Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish new year. Today, at 100, she celebrates with 38 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. After a year of war and rising antisemitism, we hope and pray for a new year of peace.

    In 1944 my great grandma was deported to Auschwitz-Birkenau. Her mother, younger brother and sister were gassed, murdered and cremated on arrival. Tomorrow, at the age of 98, my great grandma’s memoir, Lily’s Promise, is being published in paperback, dedicated in their honour.❤️

    Today, my great grandmother Lily Ebert, a 98 year old Auschwitz survivor, went outside for the first time after being in hospital for 5 weeks. “I appreciate the time that I have, thank you G-D.” ❤️💪A fighter and survivor💪❤️

    On May 10 1933, one of the largest Nazi book burnings took place, in Berlin. Over 20,000 Jewish books were burned. Exactly 89 years later, my great grandma’s memoir about surviving Auschwitz was published in the US. Today, Lily’s Promise is #2 on the @nytimes bestseller list.

    Lily Ebert MBE It was so humbling to see my incredible, 99 year old, great grandmother receive her MBE today, at Windsor Castle, from His Majesty The King. Lily said to the King: “I was in the hell, Auschwitz. How special it is to be here today, with The King, in the Palace!”

    77 years ago my great grandma, Lily Ebert, promised herself that that if she survived the hell of Auschwitz-Birkenau she would tell the world what happened, so that it could never happen again. How special it is to see Lily holding the first copy of her memoir, Lily’s Promise.❤️

    Today, aged 98, my great grandma Lily Ebert has her book about holding on to hope through Auschwitz and beyond published in the US. Most Holocaust stories will never be told. Lily’s Promise is an affirmation that the Nazis didn’t win and is available now!❤️
