NEW: As of about 3:30 p.m., @UnionPacific started to transport evacuees from Waterloo to Elkhorn Middle School via high-rail vehicles on UP's tracks. The shelter is secured by @OmahaPolice & open to evacuees only. Several services on-site for evacuees. #flood2019 #NebraskaFlood

The @DCSheriffNE will issue citations to anyone driving around barricades in flooded areas of Valley & Waterloo. This morning, a person attempting to get a closer look drove around a barricade not realizing how deep the water was and their truck stalled. #NebraskaFlood #Flood2019
