    Snapshot from the future. Shows exactly why online dependency will become a problem. Just a temporary outage today, but it's already annoying. In the future, these services will cease function entirely. Everything that doesn't work out of the box, you can then chuck in the bin.

    @DoesItPlay1 Iโ€™ve just tested this. You cannot pair a disc drive to a PS5 if PSN is down. Given that my collection is physical, my PS5 Pro is effectively bricked until PSN is up again.

    Ubisoft has completely lost all plots imaginable. Forcing people to destroy all copies of a product? Legally bought copies? Wording is interesting, though. So it IS indeed a PRODUCT, not just a license. And it IS in our POSSESSION, as in "WE OWN IT", not just a temporary access.

    An all-digital console with a mandatory Microsoft login to set up isn't game preservation. No matter how many games are behind those hurdles. Modern day Xbox is a textbook example for how PR speak twists the meaning of something for its narrative. Should be analysed in schools.

    You cannot play Diablo 2 resurrected after 30 days of being offline, one of the first console games to feature check in drm. It serves no real purpose and can be removed with hacks. Dark times

    The PS3 modding community better come up with a way to alter the kernel clock stat. If Sony are starting to shutter services on PS3 eventually this will stop you being able to sync the clock and all those digital games get nuked even if you rush and buy them now.

    Robocop: Rogue City Collection comes with TWO discs and both are updated builds. Would love to see more publishers release revised discs. Big props to @Nacon and @RoboCopRC here.

    800 โ‚ฌ. No stand. No disc drive. We knew this reveal could turn out bad, but holy moly, this is a gigantic letdown from Sony. What about this is "with deeply engaged players [...] in mind" (PS Blog), apart from an "they will buy anything we throw at them" expectation? #PS5Pro
