- We were very fortunate to attend Bradford‘s civic event to commemorate the Bosnian Genocide yesterday. We heard stories of courage in the face of atrocity. Well done and thank you in particular to Bakir in Y10 who shared his family’s powerful story of resilience #Srebrenica28

- We are really looking forward to DMA’s inaugural Culture Week! Flags have gone up in the Heart Space today representing the national identities of staff and students. We have a week of events culminating in Culture Day on Friday: all very exciting!

- We were very fortunate to send student representatives to @CitizensUK General Election Assembly in London yesterday. It was great to hear political party representatives say how they would act on the people’s manifesto…and some sightseeing too!
- We ended Culture Week 2023 with Culture Day last Friday, with students taking part in workshops looking at religions, arts, texts, sports and dance from the diverse range of cultures represented at DMA. Staff and students loved wearing their own cultural dress!
