- These albums are really fun when you don’t have elitists in your ear telling you they’re corny and the death of modern metal music
- Warped Tour depleting every ounce of goodwill they had with their “tour” announcement and Radke endorsement the same week as the massively successful WWWY Fest is kind of poetic
- The music at metalcore concerts VS the music between sets at metalcore concerts
- If an album cover looked like this around 2010 you knew it was gonna go hard
- Everyone clamors for unique metalcore and then when they get it, they call it “mid” and “forgettable”
- Is fandom culture ruining the scene? Bad Omens harassed so much they deleted their socials? Sleep Token birth certificates leaked? Oli choked by a fan at a BMTH show? What is happening rn? We need to get it together because this level of obsession can’t be good for the scene

- Convinced that r/metalcore stops liking bands as soon as they find any success. They just want bands that they can say are underrated The way they’ve turned on Spiritbox and Alpha Wolf is crazy, especially since neither band has drastically changed their sound.
- Pop punk MGK gotta be one of my least favorite things to happen in the scene. His music and image is exactly what I would expect from someone who doesn’t really understand the genre or what makes it good. It’s all the surface-level tropes with none of the substance.
- Now that it’s October, there’s only 2 bands you’re allowed to listen to.
- The fact that both of these bands have over 1M monthly listeners on Spotify is insane to me
