- Am I the only one who watches homesteading and off grid videos and wonders why no one seems to plan for mobility issues or disability when building their tiny homes or cabins or whatever? Massively steep stairs or ladders, narrow doorways, only wood heat, no railings...

- Replying to @NPRSo, white guys have been showing up in armor and with guns, supposedly "to protect the city" after seeing on FB that the protesters had pipe bombs (nope) and guns (nope) and were going to be violent, and then one of them started shooting. Who is trying to start all this on FB?!
- Replying to @oldenoughtosayA good friend from college, her kids often hung out there, just not that night, and they lost so many friends. I think of her kids and all those connected to Pulse, and...I just want to hug you all and turn into a mama bear. It's too much. Too much death, too much grief. 😔
- As a mom who went without food so my kids could eat more than once, all while their dad, my ex, was making more than 11x my salary and sticking me with every bill, screw you.
- Years ago, while teaching in an alternative high school, I lost my dad, was in a nasty custody proceeding , and 6 months later, I found out Mom has cancer. The kids made Mom a huge card with everyone signing it, and they got me through such a dark, dark time. Hugs daily. 🥲

- You mean the ex-husband I met at our evangelical Christian college and was married to for 12 years? The one I prayed over and married because I thought God wanted me to? The one I saved myself for only to find out later he’d lied about that, too? Again, go screw yourself.
- Custodians are absolutely critical to so very many parts of society. Garbage workers, too, as quickly shown when they go on strike. Cleaning is a skill, and those who are good at it as a job are angels who make everything possible.
