My beautiful wife Caitlin passed away today after fighting cancer for 7.5 years. Caitlin is an inspiration. She refused to let cancer dictate her life. Caitlin was the best wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend you could ever ask for. We love her dearly.

- A sincere thank you to everyone for your compassion during my wife’s nearly 3 week hospitalization. We still face long odds, but my wife is the toughest person I know. How many people inexplicably wake up from a 9-day coma & check out of hospice? The answer: my wife.
- With a heavy heart I’ve had to step away from my various ESPN duties to care for my ailing wife and our wonderful 7-year old son. I can’t thank ESPN, my friends & colleagues enough for their unwavering support & concern for my family.
- The Bears have no business playing on Sunday night in Week 16. Sorry, America.
- Matt Nagy said the Bears took precious time out of their days during the week to show clips of Saints DB C.J. Gardner-Johnson in order to reinforce that’s he’s a huge instigator and to warn players not to take the bait. Anthony Miller didn’t get the memo.
- Bears WR Allen Robinson (free agent) said repeatedly this morning that everything is on the table in terms of his future but added in regards to the Bears, "I personally feel like we had an opportunity to be able to get something done over the past 365 days."
- Matt Nagy adds that Nick Foles is the new Bears starting QB moving forward. This is not a week-to-week evaluation. Foles' job until further notice.
- Justin Fields was on fire during a deep red zone period vs. the Dolphins. Had three touchdown passes and a nifty out-of-the-pocket scramble that resulted in a rushing TD (should note that QBs are not to be touched in practice).
- New Bears OT Teven Jenkins: "The No. 1 thing I've always learned is, you keep your quarterback clean & you always keep him upright, no matter what you have to do. Be dirty, hold, do what you gotta do. If anybody hits my quarterback after the play, that's my problem, not his."
- Cole Kmet on Aaron Rodgers' proclamation that he owns the Bears: "He's not totally wrong."
- I find it admirable that people are defending Cody Parker. You should never attack anyone personally, much less a professional athlete. But the bottom line is Cody Parkey wasn’t good enough for the Bears. 11 missed kicks. It needs to be addressed in the offseason.
- Final: Colts 19, Bears 11. Let's be honest. The Bears are lucky not to be 0-4.
- I can’t believe people still have the energy to argue about Mitchell Trubisky.
- New Bears LB Alec Ogletree just recorded his third interception of the day.
