What a gutsy performance by Chris Tanev who played with a torn laberum, separated shoulder and had a sprained neck.

- I was there on day 1 of TSN 1040 20 years ago. So many worked hard and built a special place for Vancouver which is sadly no more today. Many many special people worked at 1040. The city lost a jewel today.

- He never gets the credit but Canucks Swedish scout Patrik Jonsson played a big role in finding Hoglander. Jonsson has been watching Hoglander since he was 15. Jonsson woke up early in Sweden to watch Hoglander tonight. He should be grinning ear to ear.
- 50 wins. they won the Pacific Division, 1 win shy of the Western Final, got valuable playoff experience, it was a season to remember for the #Canucks. Finally a winning season for this fan base. It was fun covering this team.

- Canucks have agreed to terms with Vasili Podkolzin on his entry level contract, announcement any day.
- I just texted Chris Tanev. 10 years in this city. Gave everything he had every night. A warrior. Loved by his teammates, coaches and management. Tough to see this guy go.
- Very sad news as Gino Odjick has passed away at the age of 52. 1 of my favourite players all-time, 1 of the most popular players in franchise history. RIP Gino.
- Brock Boeser agent Ben Hankinson on Ben Kuzma question _ Brock was ok with it, it caught Brock off guard a little bit but he is not upset with Ben. It was also a good thing he let it out, he does not say much to me, it allows people to see what an average person deals with.
