    Words cannot express how meaningful it is to see black and Asian elves - in important main roles, no less - be represented in fantasy media. Historically, the genre has coded elves + elven beauty very narrowly. And it's SO wonderful to see that spectrum grow more inclusive.😭

    Part of me hopes that Veilguard is released on November 18th, the same day that Inquisition was released ten years ago. Ten years later in real time, ten years later in game time. On the anniversary of Inquisition. I'm a sucker for sentimentality. It would be poetic! 🥺

    Please don't judge other real people for fictional choices they make in their fictional roleplaying games. Or project/assign morality of a fictional OC to that of their player. It's bad faith. Beloved as they may be, these games are not reality and these characters are not real.

    You don't need to put down BioWare in order to prop Larian up, or insult Larian to defend BioWare. You can like *both* BioWare games and Larian games without turning it into a competition or disparaging dunking war.
