    The Hueneme High girls basketball team is 9-0. To put that in perspective, the program has not had a winning season since 1989-90 and only four in its history. Hueneme has won more than 8 games only 4 times since 1995-96. @vcspreps

    Pacifica (15-1) is only the third area football team to win 15 games in season. Oaks Christian was 15-0 in 2006. Camarillo finished 15-1 in 2015. @vcspreps

    Jaemi Toledo tied a county record for most extra point kicks in a game by a female with eight in Oxnard's 56-0 win over Quartz Hill. Camarillo's Alex Gonzalez had eight in a 2018 game. @vcspreps

    Riley Battin of Oak Park set the Ventura County boys basketball career record for points scored (2,358) on Saturday surpassing the mark of 2,343 set by Simi Valley's Don MacLean from 1985-88. Battin had 30 points in a loss to St. Anthony. @vcspreps
