- On this Memorial Day, we pause to remember the courageous individuals who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation. Delray Beach Fire Rescue honors their service and extends gratitude to those who gave everything for our freedom.
- UPDATE: The train is moving again. Railroad crossings are open to traffic.
- TRAFFIC ALERT: A stopped train is currently blocking several FEC railroad crossings from NE 2nd Street to SE 10th Street. Affected crossings include SE 10th Street, SE 4th St, SE 2nd St, SE 1st St, E. Atlantic Ave, and NE 2nd St. The crossings should reopen by 10:30 a.m.
- This afternoon, DBFR crews responded to a brush fire in the 2800 block of SW 15th Street in Pines West. Firefighters quickly extinguished the flames before they reached a nearby structure. With dry conditions and high heat, please use extra caution outdoors.
- Update: Railroad crossing arms are upright and functioning again. Atlantic Avenue near I-95 and Lake Ida Road are open to traffic.
- TRAFFIC ALERT! The crossing arms are currently stuck in the downward position at the CSX railroad tracks near I-95 at Atlantic Avenue and Lake Ida Road. Please avoid the area and seek alternate routes until the issue is resolved.
- Delray Beach Fire Rescue responded to a crash involving a car and Brightline train at Lindell Blvd and FEC Railroad tracks. DBFR transported the car driver to the hospital.
- 🚨TRAFFIC ALERT🚨 W. Atlantic Avenue is shut down in both directions from NW. 9th Ave. to NW. 6th Ave. while police investigate a vehicle crash. Please seek an alternative route.
