- A chemical spill occurred on Fri. night in the Delaware River in Bucks County. The City of Phila advised Phila residents to drink bottled water as a precaution on Sunday, 3/26. Delaware County's water supply does NOT come from the Delaware River and was NOT impacted by the spill.

- Delaware County is now offering walk-in and drive-up vaccinations at all County-operated, sponsored, and partnered vaccination sites. Visit delcopa.gov/vax for a complete listing of locations, dates, and times. Vaccines are 100% free, and require no ID or insurance.
- Delaware County Council Chair Dr. Monica Taylor has been named to the PA State Board of Education. She will serve on the Boardโs Council of Basic Education, which has the power and duty to develop a master plan for basic, vocational and technical education throughout the State.
- Spending time outdoors is beneficial to physical & mental health, but remember to observe social distancing. When using a trail, at a park or walking in your neighborhood- stay at least 6 feet away from others. Itโs critical to practice social distancing both indoors and outside.
- Council toured the Countyโs large-scale community COVID-19 vaccination site at Delaware County Community College, where final preparations are being made to prepare for its opening tomorrow.
- Delaware County has launched the Homebound COVID-19 Vaccination Program. This new program, part of the Delaware County Pandemic Plan, will help ensure that homebound individuals who cannot safely leave their home are able to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. delcopa.gov/homebound
- This afternoon, Governor Wolf and Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine signed an amended Green Phase Order to include Delaware County. Under the order, Delaware County will move to the Green Phase of the Governorโs phased reopening plan at 12:01 am on June 26.
- Delaware County Council unanimously passed a resolution recognizing Operation Green Light in Delaware County. Operation Green Light is a new, national initiative of the National Assoc. of Counties to support military Veterans, and runs from Mon., Nov. 7 through Sun., Nov. 13.
