The fundamental problem with Israel-Palestine is that the Israelis are too scared to take civilian casualties. Israel can be completely secure without the war, if they accept casualties. The only way to have no civilian casualties is to eradicate the Palestinians as a people.

our entire family home has now been destroyed by israel. built by my grandparents after being forcibly expelled from their homes in jaffa in 1948, they worked for decades to save up enough to purchase a small plot of land where my family could live. 5+ decades of memories, gone.
