I've written to @glastonbury urging them to remove Kneecap based on their alleged behaviour and the widely reported footage. Allegedly calling for the murder of colleagues is abhorrent, I stand in solidarity with MPs from across the House. Violence has no place in politics.

Unlike many countries, the UK has the right to protest. This doesn’t include attacking British military assets. It’s high time people in this country realised actions have consequences.

In Parliament, I urged online music streaming services to remove Kneecap from their platforms on the grounds they appear to have called for the murder of MPs, and appear to have waved a terrorist flag. I also called for Corbyn to apologise for posing alongside them.

An honour to pay tribute at The Wall of Remembrance of the Fallen in Kyiv. Their sacrifice is not just for Ukraine, but for the West. If Putin is allowed to win he will not stop there. We cannot allow his grip to tighten.

10y gilt dipped below 4.4% for first time in 2025… The 2 & 5 year gilt - both now been below 4% for a month, actually below level when Labour came to power… this is filtering through to 2y & 5y fixed mortgage rates… driven by higher expectation of rate cuts given weaker jobs
