I stand with Prime Minister @BorisJohnson who is doing everything possible to deliver on the clear result of a referendum in the face of a powerful pro EU establishment. They want the PM to resign - but they dont want an election.

MPs were denied the right to vote for a full WTO Brexit on the ballot paper tonight. It was a choice between soft Brexit, no Brexit or holding another referendum to get a different answer. So much for democratic innovation of “indicative votes”

Deeply sinister that Brexiteers like ⁦@BorisJohnson⁩ face being dragged into court. EU supporters falsely claimed that a leave vote would collapse the economy. No action being taken against them..

I will always vote to defend the interests of the United Kingdom - not the interests of the EU. I would never vote in a way that would allow the EU to hinder or block the movement of goods from One part of the UK to another. NEVER.

Most important qualification to be a police officer is common sense. This will discriminate against people who choose to go into workplace after school. In 9 years as a Special Constable I never came across a situation that required a degree.
All new police officers in England and Wales to have degrees

I wont apologise for meeting people who have traveled from Wales to support Brexit. I dont assume that waving an English flag makes you a “fascist” & I cannot control who walks past me in a public place at a protest. Remain activists stop smearing people!

My father died in June 2020 during lockdown. At that time,as a Minister, I saw first hand, including at COBR meetings, how determined Boris was to saving lives and getting our country through. His commitment was absolute and I have no hesitation in backing him today.

I’ve just voted for the Prime Minister’s Illegal Migration Bill to allow it to proceed to its next stage. It’s very simple - this country and Government should decide who comes here, not criminal gangs.

The vote showed one thing clearly: Nobody wants compromise. It will be a Parliamentary fight to the finish. In one corner those who want a clean Brexit, in the other those who want to stay in regardless of the vote. I stand with 17.4million who voted to leave.
