Since the ousting of former Prime Minister Imran Khan in April last year we have seen tensions escalate in Pakistan with growing protests and Government suppression leading to violence.

There has been a powerful moment of democracy in Pakistan. Millions and millions have voted for Imran Khan’s party despite widespread intimidation, legal & physical attacks and even the deregistering of the party symbol. This reality cannot be ignored. 1/2
A 32 year old climate activist is about to be imprisoned for 456 days for stopping traffic for 25 minutes.
In that 25 minutes the Govt handed $553 475 to fossil fuel corporations.
BREAKING: we’ve just received costings that legalising cannabis will generate $28 billion!! That’s enough to build affordable homes for 280 000 people or raise jobseeker by $80 a fortnight.
