We have to start thinking in terms of post-WWII Germany or Japan. Or the failures of Reconstruction in the South.

- Any journalist who takes Republican "pivot back to deficits" talk seriously should never work in journalism again.
- Replying to @DavidOAtkinsThis is not your standard partisan policy disagreement. This is a conspiracy theory fueled belligerent death cult against reality & basic decency. The only actual policy debates of note are happening within the dem coalition between left and center left.
- Increasingly seeing "Republicans want him to win" as a reason to attack Bernie and say he can't win the general. Wrong. The GOP wanted Obama in 08. Dems wanted Trump in 16. Each side is famously stupid about who is electable on their own side, and beatable on the other.
- It is absolutely insane that the party that has won 7 of the last 8 presidential elections by popular vote, has only had the power to pass laws for 2 of the last 26 years, with the majority of judges chosen by the party that lost those elections by popular vote.
- can you imagine if any other candidate's supporters behaved like this?

The Right has been running 4 years on "fuck your feelings, my conspiracy theories are valid opinions, and we have more guns."

- Dear centrists: 1) Biden is toast 2) Buttigieg will not win the primary 3) y'all never believed Bernie could win 4) y'all spent months tearing down Warren 5) there is now an 85% chance of a sanders win, 10% chance of a warren win, and maybe 5% for Biden. Congrats!

- So...as a newly elected DNC member, I'd like to provide some insight on "the DNC" to folks who like to complain about "the DNC" and such. Because "the DNC" doesn't work how most folks who talk about it think it does. It's both better--and far worse--than you think.
