Excited to get some experience with NK cell based therapies in AML. Early data looks promising. Seems like harnessing the innate immune system (NK and macrophages) may be more important for AML @MDAndersonNews @NitinJainMD @doctorpemm @AaronGoodman33 @TapKadia

Thank you for the opportunity @JCO_ASCO . Hopeful and excited for the 3 ongoing phase III studies with magro in frontline MDS and AML. A huge 🙏🏽 to all the patients, physicians and research teams helping make these studies a reality! @MDAndersonNews @DrHKantarjian @garciamanero
    🙌 Magrolimab + AZA is promising for higher-risk #MyelodysplasticSyndromes, even in the setting of TP53 mutations 👉 fal.cn/3x6n8 #JCO #MDS #mpnsm #leusm @Daver_Leukemia

A great honor to be presented Educator if the Year by PER!! Thank you so much for the recognition! Was a true surprise for me at the end of my talk at CFS 😃 @MDAndersonNews @Lisa_Palacios @philtalamo @donnashort @gotoPER
Presenting the Educator of The Year to ⁦@Daver_Leukemia⁩ president of PER ⁦@philtalamo#leukemia. He has been such a valued resource to us!! #congrats! ⁦@MDAndersonNews⁩ ⁦@gotoPER@gotocfs interrupting the program in true PER fashion. Great news!

Dr @Daver_Leukemia & I have signed the treaty of Kyoto to end all disagreements in the field & to reconcile all the differences in classification, risk stratification & response assessment between higher risk #MDSsm & #AMLsm

As the lesser of two evils MUD. In reality unless his TP53 VAf is low (<1%) on a sensitive NGs the 1 year postSCT OS is about 30-35% and 2 year <20%. But 20-30% is better than <5% chance of 2yr OS with AZA+VEN in TP53m AML…so that’s my sad logic here

A true honor to deliver the 2023 David Grimwade Memorial Lecture. Wonderful to see the tremendous efforts and collaboration among the UK AML community! Thank you UK AML academy and @charliecraddock for the invitation @DillonHaem @mikewdennis @pvyas_oxford .
A brilliant talk by @Daver_Leukemia at UK AML Academy. Highlighting emerging strategies to improve outcomes in AML using novel targeted therapies and their exciting potential to improve transplant outcomes. Great opportunities to build links between UK and US partners.

This is a very important manuscript showing unfortunately the poor efficacy and significant cytopenias with VEN-based regimens in blast phase MPN. We need better options here...@doctorpemm @bose_prithviraj @TapKadia

Looking forward to seeing all the cool data coming out at ASH 2021. Lots of exciting abstracts and progress in FLT3: check out the ASH FLT3 abstracts @MDAndersonNews @Lisa_Palacios @NicholasShortMD @musayilmaz54 @TapKadia @doctorpemm @GBorthakur
30% to 35% of patients with AML carry the FLT3 mutation. Although the mutation is common, it’s also more difficult to treat. Dr. Naval Daver shares advances that are changing the treatment landscape for this high-risk diagnosis fal.cn/3krJY @Daver_Leukemia #EndCancer

A CLL1 autoCART for R/R AML. CLL1 looks to be a very good target for AML. We are excited about this study for AML. We are happy to see any potential patients @DrHKantarjian @TapKadia @doctorpemm @MDAndersonNews @NitinJainMD @GBorthakur

Not uncommon scenario! IT AraC 2/week till negative three in a row, then weekly x 4, then monthly x 12 . Would do the IT chemo even post SCT to complete full course since SCT with limited EMD protection…..
