- As a youngster I used to regard owner Mario Lanfranchi at @RomfordDogs as a celebrity, he owned loads of top dogs carrying the ‘El’ prefix and turned up to racing in a stretch limo often wearing a suit with matching hat. A real character, he sadly passed away on Jan 2 aged 94.
