“Racism is not a logical position, so you cannot defeat it with logic. Facts just don’t matter to a racist, especially not the tedious kind of racist who makes their home in video game culture. There will always be a new hair to split, a new way for this kind of person to object”

As Twitter's general functionality continues to decline, there are times when you may find it difficult to search for the content you need. So, as a public service announcement, here is the video clip you are trying to find to post when discussing the death of Henry Kissinger now

Although Ruby Rose is television and film’s go-to pick whenever the script calls for a heavily tattooed lesbian, it is worth noting that they usually have to use makeup and costuming to conceal/change her tattoos lest the world see her Astro Boy & Samurai Pizza Cats right forearm

Promare panel: TRIGGER heroes are dumb because otherwise the plot would be resolved in 10 minutes, and they'd spend the rest of the time eating pizza. Waka-san said the only TRIGGER hero with real brains is Inferno Cop; we can tell based on how quickly he figures out who to shoot

LRT: want to see modern “geek culture” firsthand? Look at all the posts of people begging, PLEADING for the big corporation to win out over the estate of the original creators. Because they’re convinced there will be NO MORE MEDIA EVER if the estate wins and has to *gasp* be paid

This holiday season, the hottest Christmas present is—once again—the women’s designer Vegeta boots from Nordstrom. Yes, for only $270 you can rock the very same Motorsport stiletto boots that the Prince of the Saiyans would wear while rocking the catwalks of Namek or porking Goku

I was waiting for the official account to post this, and they never did. But the most vital part of tonight's Dynamite was Excalibur explaining to an old man who's never heard of anime what magical girls are in terms he might understand (followed by stunned Boomer Sooner silence)

I hate the fact that voting with one's dollars is wholly ineffective at sending a desired message. If nobody buys Bayonetta 3, execs won't say "darn, look at all these people who are protesting awful wages." They'll say "welp, no interest in this game franchise/character/studio!"

Shonen Jump editors: NOOOOOOOOO!!!!! YOU CAN'T JUST STICK TO THE ORIGINAL STORY OUTLINE AFTER THE CHARACTER POPULARITY POLLS COME IN!!! YOU HAVE TO ADJUST YOUR STORY TO FEATURE THE SUPPORTING CAST MORE AS A RESULT!!! Tatsuki Fujimoto: haha chainsaw man go brrrrr the future rules

The other day I saw posts from people talking about how they view Attack on Titan as a comfort nostalgia old-school anime because it was something they started watching the anime of when they were 9 and now they're graduating college, and then I crumbled into dust which blew away

I don't intend to cause too much alarm, but I regret to inform everybody that in about two months it will be the 20th anniversary of The Matrix. That's right. Twenty years. It has been that long. If you reference The Matrix, most anime fans have no idea what you are talking about

Just post after dogshit post of people immediately willing to accept the dishonest framing of the megacorp (and the megacorp financed outlets). Just a flood of replies of people saying “they’re greedy and are gonna shut everything down.” This is what “geeks” actually believe.
