- Dartford Grammar School is The Sunday Times IB School of the Year 2020. We are delighted to receive this accolade for the second time in four years after an outstanding set of academic results in the summer.

- 2020 IB results see a record-breaking DGS average point score achieved by our cohort of leavers at a stunning 37.6 against a world average below 30. All in such challenging times... Congratulations to students and staff on a simply amazing result.

- Congratulations to Patrick Sykes for his 45 points in the IB Diploma - one of just 218 students worldwide with this perfect score!
- As we return for the new academic year, a few reflections about our Yr14 outcomes: 11 Oxbridge places; top uni destinations were Leeds, Nottingham and Warwick; most popular degree courses were Medicine, Psychology, Computer Science and Economics.
- We are immensely proud of the fantastic achievements of our 2021 IB Diploma Graduates. In a most uncertain year they have been resilient, determined and cheerful on their journey to get the best results we have ever seen. Well done to all 295 of ‘Class of 21’!
- IB maximum 45 points scored by 5 students. Fewer than 1% of students worldwide achieve this level - just an amazing achievement. And 5 more achieved 44 points! A staggering 22% of the DGS leavers got 40 points or more. 2/3
- Midweek, with most of the students away from school, seems a good time to thank the staff for their enthusiasm for so many trips. Without them the trips would not happen!
