- I can't stop thinking about that 9 year-old girl killed near my home town of Ballinasloe today. Out on her bike on a beautiful Bank Holiday Sunday but tragically struck by a car. Heartbroken for her family, thoughts with her 7 year old brother, lets hope he pulls through 🙏
- Fintan McCarthy & Paul O'Donovan are total legends but can't stop feeling for Sanita Puspure. A trailblazer, rowing for us at Olympics when no one else was. Young family but dedicated her life to this dream. Sometimes sport doesn't work out as it should, thinking of her today
- Brilliant image of just how steep the velodrome actually is. Damage done to track in Munich today. The TV never does it justice. Amazing sport, will pluck up the courage one day and give it a shot 🙈
- Keem Bay in all it's glory, just look at the colour of the water, I don't think this pic even does it justice. Great couple of days in Mayo 💚❤️
- Heart goes out to Naomi Osaka. This image from US Open in 2018 made us all feel uneasy. Only 20, but boos ringing around venue as she wins first major title. Struggling with mental health since then. Sport needs to do more to protect its own
- Thinking of the family and friends of young Harry Byrne in Kilkenny. Terrible tragedy 🙏
- That’s a wrap hopefully. Emotional rollercoaster but still best buds x #homeschool
- Heartbreaking to come home to the news of the tragic death of young Kate Moran. No words really, but thinking of her family & friends in Athenry. Thinking also of everyone at Athenry & Ardrahan Camogie Clubs. You’re all in our thoughts. Life is so precious. Rest in peace Kate 🙏🏻
- Micheál Donoghue has stepped away as manager of the Galway hurlers. He informed the board of news this evening. On a personal note, hugely disappointing news, a brilliant guy on & off the field. We as Galway people will forever be indebted to Micheál & his management team #GAA
