- One of the worst characters in poker is the cocky mid-stakes pro who avoids playing against players better than him and makes fun of anyone he can beat. Don’t be that guy.
- The best players in the world are often unsure about their decisions and constantly question themselves. Charlatans drape themselves in false confidence and are more concerned with making justifications and how they are perceived.
- Developed new sense of respect for my 19-year old self last night as I timed out sober 4-tabling. No clue how I could take bong rips and crush buffalo wings while ten tabling back then.
- Interesting parallel between the Hans and Robbi cheating scandals in that it required an elite player at a major event to step out and make a bold accusation for an investigation to come forth and things brought to light. (1/4)
