I started in this business 18 years ago, at age 14. I didn’t make enough money to support myself until I was 24. I never did it for the money. I did it because I love this game with every fiber of my being.

Should I release a “schools that still owe players a lot of NIL money they promised and never paid this season, but now are recruiting new players promising even bigger money they likely won’t pay either” list?
Earlier this week, Tyrell Terry retired from the game of basketball at 22 years old.
I was Tyrell’s agent. Give me a minute to unravel all this power.

I just spoke to Jacob’s cousin @PaulyG103 in the hospital. He said they need your prayers and not condolences. He is out of surgery and in the ICU. He can make it through this. He is fighting for his life. Please please please pray for Jacob Blake. #Kenosha#PrayForJacobBlake
For people asking how I know Jacob, we grew up together. We are friends. We went to school together from Kindergarten through high school.
His family asked me to deliver the message that he is still alive and he can make it through this, and that reports of his death are false.
I don’t know exactly what the future will bring to this amazing 22-year-old human. But I’m honored to be walking this path alongside him. I can’t wait to see what’s to come in the Tyrell Terry story.
Congrats Tyrell, the rest of your life has begun.
Jacob Blake is NOT dead. I spoke to his family 5 minutes ago. He is in the ICU and expected to make it. Please stop the disinformation. #Kenosha#JacobBlake
Tyrell has incredible gifts to give to the world aside from putting a ball in a hoop. When he told his story thousands of athletes & non-athletes alike started to share their own stories about mental health struggles. His story made it ok for people to admit they’re not ok. (6/7)
I saw him struggle, not wanting to disappoint those who lived vicariously through him, even when his heart kept telling him he was going in the wrong direction. Now, he has the courage to live for himself. Everyone has their dharma, and your job as a human is to live yours. (5/7)
Tyrell struggled with severe anxiety throughout his career. I was there alongside him, watching him try & try again — going to practice when he was hours removed from crippling anxiety attacks, playing in games when his heart was in another place, going through the motions. (4/7)
