    This is not true. Abortion is allowed through the 24th week of pregnancy for any reason in New York. After that, you need a doctor to sign off that either the fetus is not viable or that your life or health is at risk. Here's the law: nysenate.gov/legislation/la…

    I need people to know that the State Supreme Court is the lowest-level of court in New York and in no way the state's version of the U.S. Supreme Court. There are (sort of) three tiers: Local (State Supreme Court is here), Appellate, and the Court of Appeals (the highest)

    NEWS: Gov. @NYGovCuomo has signed the Protect Our Courts Act, which makes it illegal for ICE to conduct a civil arrest against an undocumented person in, on their way, or leaving a courthouse unless they have a warrant signed by a federal judge.
