Effective today, I am resigning from the Labour Group on Peterborough City Council. I feel as though I have sustained bullying and marginalisation within the group after raising serious concerns—concerns which, in my view, were not treated with the seriousness they deserved.

We still don’t have justice for the girls harmed by grooming gangs. This problem hasn’t gone away. And hiding grooming gang cases inside general CSE stats just covers up the truth. The data needs to be separated. Victims deserve honesty. #JusticeForTheGirls #endcse
