- Of course it was a Boomer that ended eight decades of American Exceptionalism. They were never going to leave the place better than they found it, after all they’re not their parents.
- Can I tell you guys a secret? I’m not a fan of my neighbor so I search “personal injury atlanta” and click on his sponsored link a couple times a week.
- Today I opened the chipotle app, loaded a tasty burrito into my cart, saw that it was $20.80 before tax/delivery/tip, and closed the app. Chose leftovers instead. I’ve seen enough to call it: we’re in a recession.
- A few weeks ago I was with a mil friend who told me cargo companies are now selling packages for rich people to come aboard for trips around the Horn of Africa (effectively licensed murder of pirates). So if you’re into that, FYI it’s out there.
- Are you kidding? One is bonefish with Silian Rail font and the other is pale nimbus, white. Huge difference.

GIF - Pro tip: if you’re in wealth circles, treat service workers with the utmost (deserved) respect. Punching down is taboo because everyone at that level realizes how lucky they are to be there. Ignoring this rule is a sign of New Money and immediate black ball.
- If you hate your former employer but they had a reasonably good 401k plan and you have >$10k in it, consider not consolidating your 401ks. They can’t kick you out of the plan but they bear costs on your assets. It’s fun and legal to do!
- 40yo male approaches us at SkyZone and asks if the 8yo girl sulking next to us is ours. No. He then starts a conversation to “see if she’s alright”. Brother, there is no benefit, in this climate, to engage with a child that’s not yours. Unless, of course, that’s like your thing.
- Replying to @DadInvestIf you work in a high cost keyword industry and you have a cheaper, real life method to acquire clients, you should 100% be doing this. Take a lesson from Cornelius Vanderbilt: it’s not enough for you to manage your own business, you must inflict cost on your competitors.
- I cracked. I watched Margin Call to calm my nerves. But it’s not helping. I think I’m a panican.
- Pro tip: if discussing finances with your wife, always use %’s and never actual $’s. For the sake of marital harmony.
