    #Jets players fired up. Jets fans fired up. 49ers players fired up for Saleh. A lot of people happy on both coasts. Rare to see this type of shared positive emotion for a coaching hire. Says a lot about Saleh.

    I remember talking to Josh McCown during Sam Darnold's rookie season with the Jets in 2018 and McCown said of Darnold: "Man, my guy's going to be a good one!" They were teammates then. Now, McCown is the Vikings QB coach and Darnold has been exactly that - and more - this season

    #Jets P Thomas Morstead had 3 punts downed inside the 5-yard line for the first time in his career. He's the only punter in franchise history to accomplish the feat and just the 15th NFL player to do it since 1970.
