Our night begins with a very disappointing arrest: parent with three kids under 6 years of age arrested for impaired driving, blowing nearly 3x the legal limit. Absolutely deplorable. Numerous criminal charges laid and steps taken to ensure safety of children. #RIDE23 ^bb

- The driver of this Corvette decided at minimum to conduct stunts in the parking lot of #canadaswonderland while #Air2 monitored. Once enough police where on scene the motor vehicle was boxed on and the driver arrested. #erase @YRP ^jv
- From a drunk driver going the wrong way on a one way street, to a high driver who could barely stand & had a child in the car, our team was incredibly busy throughout the night. We thank all those who drove sober & those who reported impaired drivers across the Region #RIDE ^bb
- No clear view to the rear - $110. A nice new wooden snow brush can be purchased at many local area retailers for around the $5 range. ^js
- To the Ajax resident that didn’t get their food delivered last night, sorry about that. Your driver was arrested and charged w/ impaired related offences. Your food is currently in the impound lot for a period of 7 days. Contact your delivery service for potential refund ^bb
- 130km/hr is illegal on every road in Ontario… this includes Bayly Street, which is a posted 60 zone in this spot. Driver stated they were almost home and had to use the washroom… well, hopefully if they were almost home the walk wasn’t too bad. 14 day impoundment #Stunt ^bb
- The male driver in this husband and wife race team, repeatedly asked the charging officer to help him out regarding the multiple tickets they received. The officer would rather help out the citizens of Whitby by ensuring their safety. 104 kmh in a 60 kmh zone. ^js
- It’s not something to celebrate, but the driver of this vehicle was the RIDE teams 100th arrest for Impaired Driving. Miraculously, there were no injuries as a result of this idiocy. ^js
- At one of our #RIDE lines tonight in @CityofPickering a driver came through the line actively holding up her phone filming the line. When asked what she was doing the response was “I thought it was a crime scene” fun fact: cellphone tickets carry a 3 day suspension. #RIDE ^bb
- Driving with no lights in this weather is not safe - having a G1 and being alone is not safe - oh and your three year old should be secured in the car seat … saying you didn’t know the rules isn’t an excuse. These roads are risky without the added dangers. Driver charged ^bb
- Driver caught going west 37 over… 29 minutes later same driver caught in same spot, this time eastbound at 26 over… although we appreciate the slight decrease … this behaviour is unacceptable #slowdown ^bb
- 174 km/hr is far too fast… 174 with a prior stunt charge is just foolish. Please slow down. #RIDE23 ^bb
- Swerving all over the road … a #RIDE23 officer thought this driver was possibly impaired … but no, just watching a movie with a phone leaning against their dash, blocking their speedometer and oh yea, their high beam indicator, which was on… in pouring rain, in the city ^bb
- Last night was interesting … one person stopped for not slowing/changing lanes for officers and their excuse: “I never change lanes for police”. One person stopped for expired permit, “I dare you to give me a ticket for it”… anyways now I need more ticket paper ^bb
