Jim Schlossnagle has done the unthinkable. He's made Texas A&M a sympathetic figure everywhere but Austin, Texas.
I've been an Aggie-hating Baylor Bear my entire life, and even I'm hoping they make a good hire and whip Schloss/Texas in perpetuity.

- Replying to @mSanterre @JoseMock and @crazyclipsonlyCounter argument: Don't use Doordash if you can't afford to tip.
- The Nate Eovaldi for AL Cy Young campaign needs to be pushed into overdrive after tonight. He's been the best starter in baseball all year. The baseball world slept on him at the All-Star break. It's time for everyone to wake up.
- I think it's worth mentioning in the aftermath of ACU's win over Texas that it took Joe Golding eight years to achieve his first winning season at ACU. Including that season, they've gone 71-22 with two NCAA tournament appearances since. Patience is a virtue. Let coaches build.
- Replying to @mSanterre @JoseMock and @crazyclipsonlyIf you're relying on people to serve you, you should be prepared to offer a tip. Ease and convenience come at a price.
- The 2025 Texas Rangers have lost six games this season by a 3-2 margin, five games by a 2-1 margin and two games by a 1-0 margin. And just for funsies, it also has three 2-0 losses on the years. That's 16 games lost simply because this lineup is incompetent. That's the season.
- The Rangers are the anti-Brewers. Where Milwaukee finds creative ways to win, we invent new ways to lose games.
- Replying to @mSanterre @JoseMock and @crazyclipsonlyThe restaurants don't include that in the price because they don't want to scare off cheap customers. They're going to get their money either way. It's the service worker who gets screwed. Not tipping only hurts the person who took the time and made the effort to serve you.
- How wild would it be if Luis Curvelo ended up saving this team's season as the closer? At this point, I'm not opposed to giving him a shot. That dude has moxy.
- Josh Jung is a terrible baseball player. His fall-off is worse than Rougned Odor's.
- Josh Jung has lowered his chase rate for the season by half a percent just in the brief time he's been back in the majors. His recent success is no accident. He's doing a much better job of laying off garbage and punishing strikes. It's been awesome to see.
- Bochy did my boy Luis Curvelo absolutely no favors tonight by throwing him out there for the ninth. He just took an incredibly hot young pitcher and hung him out to dry -- potentially killing his confidence in the process. And for what? To save one inning of relief work?
- Replying to @PeterBurnsESPNCarry that water, Pete. But while you do try to understand that the Big 12's expansion (necessitated by the SEC) improves access to high major football (good for the sport). The SEC's attempt to gut the Big 12 and freeze out a whole region was done with the opposite in mind.
- Best win of the season. This team has found its mojo.
