    Congratulations to Wolfe House, 2023 Drill Competition winners who will now have the honour of Trooping the Colour on Grand Day. Deputy Senior Under Officer Hanniel, received the Baroness Thatcher Sword of Honour, good conduct stripes and medals were also presented.

    The Corps of Drums and Bugles welcomed former DOYRMS student and Drum Major - Alex Lynch (2009 – 2016), who is now a Bugler and Drummer with The Band of His Majesty’s Royal Marines. Alex spent time with the current Dukie members of the Military Band, helping develop their skills.

    Sashes awarded for best in Year 7 Drill. Amalaini and Tishe were presented with their sashes by Mr Foreman after being selected by RSM Howell as the best two students in Year 7 drill. Congratulations to both students for their hard work and commitment to drill practice.

    The ceremonial event which commences the journey of The British Torch of Remembrance, saw Dukies form an Honour Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior, Westminster Abbey. Students also attended the Service of Remembrance at Dover Marine Railway Station (now the Cruise Terminal)
