I can’t believe this made X (Twitter). My daughter recorded this piece while I was watching the NCAA women’s basketball championship game. Shout out to @dawnstaley and the South Carolina Gamecocks for winning the national title.@GamecockWBB. Good stuff.

Today, we are proud to announce @TheFWAA Lifetime Achievement Award for 2022 goes to Donald Hunt, a long-time writer for the @PhillyTrib. Hunt, who retired about a year ago, is the 11th person to win the award. Donald has been an FWAA member for 35 years.

C. Vivian Stringer left Cheyney State for Iowa. She also took Iowa to the Final Four and put women’s basketball on the map at Iowa. This was before she coached at Rutgers. Coach Stringer and John Chaney were Hall of Fame coaches at Cheyney State. Not many schools can say that.
