Day 56. Last night six DHS law enforcement officers were injured in Portland. To be clear, criminals assaulted FEDERAL officers on FEDERAL property…and the city of Portland did nothing.

- As I told the Governor yesterday, federal law enforcement will remain in Portland until the violent activity toward our federal facilities ends. We are not removing any law enforcement while our facilities and law enforcement remain under attack.
- This headline and others like it are grossly inaccurate & irresponsible. Our officers are not "paramilitary." They are civilian law enforcement doing their job — enforcing federal law. reuters.com/article/us-glo…
- Hearing a lot about texts from "friends at DHS" or "friends with connections at DHS" that say DHS is planning a national lock down. THIS IS NOT TRUE. Do not believe the disinformation campaigns. Please do not pass it along. Use trusted local and federal government sources.
- Building a border wall system, at one time, was very bipartisan and nonpolitical. It's only now that some are choosing politics over security. This administration will continue to use existing resources and authorities to get the job done.
00:00 - We will always prevail. God Bless America!
- The state of Oregon is finally agreeing to cooperate with our federal forces--exactly what we asked for since the nightly violence broke out two months ago. We're glad Oregon is now correcting their months long error.
- Twitter’s censoring of factual information poses a threat to national security. It should not be up to corporate bureaucrats to determine what security information the American public receives. dhs.gov/publication/le…
- Peaceful crowds don’t commit federal crimes. 20 injuries to federal officers in Portland this past weekend.
00:00 - The decision by Portland to remove DHS coordination personnel from the local Emergency Ops Center is dangerous & puts lives at risk. Local police & federal law enforcement benefit by regular communication-not less. This decision defies logic & plays politics with officer safety.
- Last night in Bend, OR, ICE executed lawful arrests & took dangerous criminals off our streets. Convictions included assault, harassment, & coercion, along with repeated illegal entries into the U.S. It’s past time to stop blaming law enforcement for the actions of criminals.
- They said it couldn’t be done… They tried to block it They tried to spin it They tried to hide the truth They were wrong. 400 times and counting.
00:00 - Completely unacceptable that it took 90+ days & a death for Oregon officials to step up and put an end to nightly violence in Portland.
