Gary Stevens' son Jack has been home for a month, loving being with his brothers. He will be monitored regularly and is on prophylactic medicine for some time but is in remission, so there’s no active treatment for leukaemia, which is absolutely wonderful!!!! God bless them

- When his little son Jack lost his hair through treatment for leukaemia, Everton legend Gary Stevens joined him...and it put a smile on the boy's face. Two heroes who'll keep fighting...
- The footage of people cheering as a deliberately aimed flare hits the Liver Building is very disturbing
- Thoughts are again with Gary Stevens as his son starts his main chemotherapy tomorrow. Jack (3) has a rare cancer of the blood and a stem cell transplant may be the only cure. Visit the Twitter pages of @AnthonyNolan or @DKMS_uk to register as a potential life-saving donor.
- There haven’t been many times when I’ve lashed my headphones and thrown the microphone down to join in the cheering…but this was one of them…
- ELEVEN years ago today Seamus Coleman made his Everton debut at Benfica, at left-back. Gosling on the right, Hibbert and Distin centre-halves. Little did we know he’d end up in our all-time top 30 appearance list. Still the same person who joined us from Sligo Rovers...top guy.
- Leyton Orient lost! Only unbeaten team now is Everton. My wife just told me she'll leave me if I keep singing Everton songs. I said "Get yer coat on and get moving..."
- Best wishes on your retirement Steven Naismith. Did really well for Everton and is a top, top guy for whom nothing was too much trouble. He continued paying for season tickets for unemployed fans long after he'd left Everton...
- Terrific performances all over the park last night but there was absolutely no way Seamus Coleman was ever coming off that pitch without an Everton win. Inspirational yet again…
- Another magnificent performance from the travelling Toffees! No trains? No matter! Sell-out and three great points
00:00 - Congratulations to @CalvertLewin14 on becoming the first Everton player with the letters e-v-e-r-t-o-n in his name to be called up for England since @TrevorSteven63
- Been in contact with Gary Stevens, and little Jack’s operation went as well as it could. It is now a matter of waiting to see if the transplant has worked. Thoughts are with Gary, Louise and all the family.
