We have very sad news reaching us this morning, Christy Laurence has sadly passed away.
Christy a huge part of the DDSL refereeing team, often seen on his bike making his way to games in all weather conditions, a brilliant man & a huge loss

- ⚠️ The board of the DDSL are delighted to announce the appointment of Barry Ferguson as our full time Director of Football, Barry will take up the roll from Mid August. We wish Barry the best of luck !

- The league are delighted to announce the appointment of Mick Kennedy as full time league operations manager. Mick , a former vice chair of the league ,will be responsible for implementation of the board’s strategic plan . Welcome aboard Mick 👍
- Wow, what a weekend. 18,925 people passed through the gates of the AUL last weekend, a staggering 3417 cars !! Thanks to all the volunteers who made the weekend possible. Big well done to all the winners.
- Parents-Coaches-Players Foul and abusive language, threatening behaviour or racist/homophobic language towards match officials, opposition teams and team mates will not be tolerated.
- Great to finally have as close as possible to a full weekend of fixtures in the DDSL. A big thanks to everyone on the registration, 99% of games going ahead this weekend with over 40,000 boys and girls playing football. Best of luck to everyone ⚽️⚽️
- Due to the inclement weather forecast for the coming weekend 11th/12th March 2023– the league has decided to initiate a blanket call off, with the safety of all stakeholders at the forefront of the decision All games will be played on the following weekend 18th & 19th March 2023
