- Just been told that I may be banned from the hospitality suites because of my opinions. Well: I couldn’t give a toss: because my heart is on the side of the fans: not the owners ! This is our club: not theirs !

- First place I arrived at: on the day I signed for the club ! Walked nervously down to Upton Park and couldn’t wait to meet the boss. Didn’t ask what my salary was going to be. Just felt so proud to be able to tell my family that I was now a Hammer ! Best decision I ever made !

- Replying to @Teamgrassroots_I’d love to have a chat with that manager who told Kayden that he wasn’t good enough. He should have helped him to improve ! Perhaps it was that manager who wasn’t good enough ! At the age of 6: kids should be encouraged to play: not to win ! They can learn to win a bit later !

- You won't find Bill on Twitter. You won't find him on Facebook. You won't get his number. He's a very private man. That's why the reception he got yesterday meant so much to him. Proud to have been part of his day.
- Found my boots from the 1980 FA Cup Final in the loft with my shirts and tracksuit tops from the game. Wore them next season and scored 34 goals earning me The Golden Boot award. Also found Willie Young's shirt and the boots I wore at White Hart Lane in our 4-0 win. #happy
- Good day for @katecross16 receiving her Master’s degree in Sports Directorship ! Mum Christine proud to be there with her ! I took the picture by the way !
- My daughter @jecross9 got married yesterday. Putting the flowers from her wedding, on the graves of all four of the Grandparents: who died before she was born: seemed a correct and poignant thing to do today.
- Not only the finest player I was lucky enough to play with: but probably the nicest bloke as well !
