We will have a first time champion in D2 Football this year and that's pretty darned exciting. Can't wait to see how this plays out over the next two weeks.

- Here are your four regional brackets for the D2 Football championship.
- Ive been around D2 for a long time. Its hard to quantify what it means for a program to have a player drafted. There are only a handful each year. It is truly a special accomplishment. This is Kyle's moment but its huge for Lenoir-Rhyne and D2 as well. 37th overall. Just awesome.
- Consistent with what we heard last week. A few teams reported viewership down 75-85%. The lost exposure from local broadcast television is simply unacceptable.
- Your #D2FB national semifinalists: Colorado Mines Harding Kutztown Lenoir-Rhyne Pairings to TBD, but expect Mines and Harding to be the hosts. We will have a first time national champion.
- On Friday, Lenoir-Rhyne unveiled renderings of the proposed renovations to Moretz Stadium. Gameday environment in Hickory is one the best in the nation, this would also give the Bears one of the finest facilities in D2.
