- Lots of 25 year former hoopers are waking up to the fact that ball ain’t life and are struggling. Many are reflecting and now questioning those that encouraged them to think ball was life. Midlife crisis before 30! Your hoop career should NOT be your peak😳
- Took a ref a little while to acknowledge my call for a timeout today. After the t/o he informed me that he lost his hearing in Afghanistan after serving 26 years for our country. What ever I said in that t/o instantly became irrelevant. Appreciative of OUR Vets. #Perspective

- Someone in the pic didn’t hoop at a D1, didn’t score over a 1000 points, didn’t make all-conference and is not a pro hooper. The other two check all those boxes and more! Both came to me in the 7th grade. Both grew ME!
