- Milestone alert! 🚨 On Wednesday, LRV 6216 entered one of the tunnels for the first time, travelling from the EMSF, over Black Creek on the elevated guideway, into the tunnel, stopping just short of the Keelesdale Station platform, before travelling back to the EMSF

- It’s official – all crosswalks are now open at Yonge and Eglinton and in their original position! We want to thank everyone for their continued patience as we work to build this important project.

00:00 - Your train is arriving! On Saturday August 22, crews drove an LRV from Mount Dennis Station through the tunnel all the way to Caledonia, making it the furthest east a train has traveled to date!
- At Eglinton Station, the final pieces of trackwork for the project are being installed now – by the end of the year, rail will run continuously from the Eglinton Maintenance and Storage Facility to Kennedy Station
- The urban tapestry is being installed at Mount Dennis Station. Each station’s platform will feature a tapestry lining the walls, adding colour and wayfinding for customers
- A splash of colour is appearing along much of the Eglinton Crosstown’s surface section, as crews continue to lay down green track. You can read more about the green track on the Metrolinx blog bit.ly/3sa9mvI
- We’ve now started testing coupled trains in both the EMSF yard and on the test track – this is the configuration they’ll run in upon the opening of the line!
- The team hit an exciting milestone last week! The burn in track between the EMSF and Caledonia Station is officially complete meaning vehicle testing can happen on a daily basis. Here, a light rail vehicle pulls into Mount Dennis Station. Stay tuned for more footage this week!

00:00 - Today marks a milestone for the Crosstown, with the first of six vehicles being delivered to the east for testing taking place between Brentcliffe and Kennedy later this summer.
