- This is the Cronin group as of 2019 containing 65 members from over 17 countries.
- Our senior technician, Jim McIver has been a fixture of the chemistry department for longer than most group members have been alive and helps keep the machinery of the Cronin group running: is found everywhere doing everything, except in his office when you really need him!
- We're excited to announce our new paper on the one-pot preparation of nanoparticles using reactionware: 'Digitizing protocols into single reactors for the one-pot synthesis of nanomaterials' Congratulations to @Hsinw8 for her excellent work on this publication!
- Congratulations to the newest PhD (#64!) out of the @CroninLab - Dr. Dario Caramelli! 🎉 Great work and best wishes for the future.
- Using our 3D printers and CAD design knowledge here @CroninLab we have made NMR holders to help safely transport samples to and from the lab! Thanks to @hiltonlab for the initial design!
- Lee Cronin has been awarded Japan Society of Coordination Chemistry International Award. He will deliver his award lecture during the 69th Conference of the Japan Society of Coordination Chemistry, to be held in Nagoya University, Aichi, Japan, in September this year.
- There are a lot of us in the Cronin Lab and our individual research interests vary enormously. To give you a flavour of this range of expertise, we'll be posting "Cronin Group Personal Profiles" in the coming weeks. @DDoran91 is up first.
- The labs are ready and so are we. Ideas have been hatched, code has been written, data analysed and experiments planned. Now we’re itching to get back to the lab once the @UofGChem reopens. 👨🏻🔬🧑🏾🔬👩🏼🔬
