Seeing a lot of dudes complaining that girls ignored them because they were into geeky things growing up.
I was a nerdy, geeky girl growing up & those geeky boys werenโt interested in me because I โhad great boobs but an ugly faceโ or a โman jawโ or I was too weird for them.
While you may have felt comfortable going out to game stores & comic book shops, I never felt comfortable going to them.
I spent much of my childhood alone, or with a small group of friends that I trusted.
Lots of people putting words in my mouth. Maybe I explained myself poorly. Maybe they are here in bad faith. But my main two points are:
1) Geeky girls have always existed. If you didn't see them, that may not be because they weren't there but because they weren't comfortable...
In honor of being told I need a nose job today, here is my cute nose. I will not be surgically altering it to look more European. If that bothers you, good.
