@Craillsy
Commentated the five F1 races -about 5 more than ever expected. The @Bathurst12hour guy. Has a mostly broken Porsche. Easily embarrassed by surprise fan clubs.

    We all knew Scotty was good - You don't succeed in Supercars unless you are an enormous talent - but to go and succeed in such a foreign form of racing, at a time when you're isolated from home and family and with the pressure of driving for the best in the sport? Wild. #INDYCAR

    Imagine being the Government that goes 'Nah, don't want this..' Absolute scenes. #Adelaide500 #Supercars #SAGreat

    Remember when they said going GTs would kill this event? Or when Supercars buying it would kill this event? Or Covid? Today was absolutely the best day. Very Very Very Very Very proud of the @Bathurst12hour. #B12hr

    Ricciardo storms from 16th to 4th all the while cracking jokes and generally having a laugh. Superb. #ItalianGP

    I am very bloody proud of that car race. We copped some shit for the grid size but we're pretty consistent in our messaging that it would still be a good race.. And it was. Of course we want and will get more cars.. but I don't think it would've made today any more a show. #B12hr

    Roger Penske - one of the most successful people in all of motorsport - came to Australia, saved one of our most iconic racing teams, insisted the DJR brand remained in the forefront and has now won the title. In the same year he won Indy and the NASCAR crown. Script that. #VASC

    Well. That was a thing. Immense broadcast from the @10SportAU team today. Privileged to be part of it. I've dreamed of calling an F1 race for TV since I was literally a little kid, so today was pretty special. Big bucket list stuff. What a day. #AusGP

    So, off to Melbourne to call the #AusGP for @10SportAU. Suffice to say the little kid who fell in love with F1 cars in Adelaide back in the early 90s wouldn't believe it! Thanks to my friends at Porsche & S5000 for letting me have this weekend away from usual duties to have a go.

    Lots of piss taking occurring from many people to make this happen, in the full knowledge I'd be mortified / embarrassed.. which I am. But secretly I'm also very flattered 🤣. Fun people at @ShakedownAus. They love the #B12hr. And so do I.

    Early days, but looks like #B12hr was the most watched show on subscription TV on Saturday and Sunday, and top-rated program on free to air multichannels (7mate) on Sunday. Digital numbers were huge. Positive, I think. #B12hr

    Big day: as a result there's a chance there'll be some tough times ahead, especially if you work as a freelancer / are self employed and rely on this all for $$. If you're battling, please talk to someone.. don't sit and stew on it on your own. Just a thought. Craillsy.

    I move to immediately petition that the 'Race that stops the nation' moniker now be permanently applied to the Bathurst 1000. The Great Race now stops more people nationally each year - and does so for 398 minutes longer - than the Melbourne Cup. #RepcoSC

    I've been coming to this place for nearly 20 years and at no point does it stop being utterly remarkable that it a) exists in the first place and b) we get to come here and do insane things like 12 Hour races on it. What an utterly ridiculous place Mount Panorama is. #B12hr
