- FCS-to-FBS Somebody just mentioned to me that any FCS school seeking to jump to FBS should be required to schedule North Dakota State in Fargo and win there first. Not a bad idea.
- No. 1 North Dakota State (7-0) at No. 2 South Dakota State (7-0) ESPN's "College GameDay" went on to report SDSU No. 1 QB Chase Mason has less than a 50 percent chance of playing due to his ankle injury. Luke Marble relieved Mason during last week's game.
