Cowdenbeath FC & @RangersFC have agreed to jointly fund a pitch protection and incubation system to ensure that our @ScottishCup tie goes ahead on Wednesday.
Grateful thanks go to the @ScottishFA and Rangers for working with us on this initiative for the benefit of all parties.
With the heating system now on at full blast, the covers are hovering over the pitch and all inside is nice and warm ahead of Wednesday's @ScottishCup game with @RangersFC.
The pitch is looking in good shape with the ground temperature under the covers continuing to rise.
Having put the frost covers down, we now need to take them back off the pitch.
Thus we would again appeal for volunteers to come along to Central Park at 11am tomorrow to help with this vital task.
If you are available, we would be delighted if you could come along.
We have been keeping a close eye on the weather forecast ahead of the @ScottishCup game v @RangersFC & have decided to put the pitch covers down to protect the pitch against frost.
We are asking for volunteers to come along & assist the club at 1pm on Wednesday afternoon.

Cowdenbeath FC is so very deeply upset and saddened to learn of the death of Liam Jackson. Liam of course was a great Cowden fan and in his alter ego was the clubโs mascot - Bluebell the Coo.
Deepest condolences go out to all Liamโs family and friends on this devastating news.
